At one point in December, I'd grown frustrated with the raft of rejections and ghosting and said to myself (think Tom Cruise in Risky Business) "KDP, here I come!" So I planted a flag for May 7 which I am now about to pull up and stick in the garage. Like a moth to the flame, I have sent GTG back out into the merciless seas of publishing and agenting. Bottom line: there is a shit-ton of very talented writers out there, and what I sent out initially was thinly written.
